Make every step count for Alzheimer Scotland in Scotland’s Memory Walk 2023
Big-hearted folk all over Angus are being asked to sign up to Alzheimer Scotland’s Memory Walk this year to raise vital funds to support people living with dementia across the country.
Scotland’s Memory Walk takes place over the weekend; 15-17 September.
The idea behind Scotland’s Memory Walk is simple – Your Walk, Your Way. People can choose where they want to walk, who they want to walk with, and on which day over the Memory Walk Weekend that suits them best. Participants can opt for a route that has special meaning with family and friends or a challenge with colleagues. Sign up at memorywalk.alzscot.org
Your walk could be a lap of your garden, a stroll through the park or from one side of town to the other – the distance doesn’t matter. The important part is you get involved; together we can make every step count for people living with dementia across Scotland.
Best of all, it’s free to take part, although everyone is encouraged to raise as much as you can. Every penny raised from Scotland’s Memory Walk will help Alzheimer Scotland to continue to fund their vital network of Dementia Advisors, Resource Centres and 24-hour Freephone Dementia Helpline (0808 808 3000), that have become such crucial supports for people living with dementia, their family members, friends and carers. Without your continued support, this help would not be available.
By taking part in Scotland’s Memory Walk, you are helping to Prevent Today, Care Now and Cure Tomorrow. Every step counts – sign up today.”
