Radio North Angus is the voluntary commercial radio station with FM transmitters in each of the seven Angus towns, broadcasts on DAB, and online. and has eight studios. The remit is to promote health, welfare, educational establishments, voluntary organisations, the economy, and relief from loneliness. Basically, to help as many people as possible.
I am seeking volunteers to act as production assistants to help with the continuity of our service, (rather than with programme presentation). This shall involve assisting at our studios based within Arbroath Infirmary, and/or with fund raising, mainly by helping with collections in local stores, and with coffee mornings, etc, and with attendance at gala days.
No technical knowledge is required and the input is flexible to suit the individuals concerned. The age range is from 14 onwards, and will probably appeal mostly to people with the time and inclination to assist the community by means of a rewarding activity.
If initerested, please e-mail me at info@radionorthangus.co.uk or phone 01241 871446 to arrange for a tour of our studios in Arbroath and to discuss on how you wish to assist.
