Safe and happy summer holidays in Angus

Angus Council’s Children and Learning Convenor, Councillor Lynne Devine, is wishing all children at Angus schools a safe and happy summer holidays, as the end of term approaches on Wednesday (29 June).
Cllr Devine said: “Although I’m new to this post, I wanted to extend my thanks to all the children, young people, teachers and staff who have worked incredibly hard this year.
“Although Covid restrictions eased over the school year, children and young people have been amazing in what was still challenging circumstances. I know you’ve all studied hard and to those who sat exams, I look forward to seeing the exam results in August. To our school leavers, I wish you all the very best for your future.
“To our teachers and staff; thank you for all your hard work, commitment, dedication and creativity, helping improve outcomes of all the children and young people in Angus.
“To parents and carers, thank you for supporting your young people when times have been difficult. That school/home partnership is just so essential and appreciated.”
