It only takes two hours to learn the skills which may save a life and it is very likely that the person you help may be a family member or someone close to you.\n\n\nThe sessions cover:\n\n\n• caring for an unconscious person who is breathing\n• caring for an unconscious person who is not breathing and performing CPR\n• awareness of defibrillators\n• how to recognise the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and how to deal with it\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTraining sessions can also be arranged on request for groups\, organisations and clubs.\n\n\nHelen Brady\, Heartstart Discovery Co-ordinator\, said\, “A Heartstart session could prove to be one of the most important training sessions you have ever undertaken.
