Arbroath Courthouse opens its doors

Written by on 26/05/2022

The Arbroath Courthouse opens its doors to the local community for a fun filled day, and for those interested to learn more about the refurbishment and redevelopment plans.

Join the activities on Saturday 4th June from 11am to 3pm for a chance to see inside the Courthouse buildings, with guided tours at fifteen minutes past the hour starting at 11.15 am onwards. There will be detailed building plans to browse, along with craft stalls, music and a children’s workshop by Art Attacks own Lauren Munro. Grab yourself a free cuppa and stay for a chat.
The Arbroath Courthouse is now in trust for the people of Arbroath and they want to hear your thoughts, suggestions and comments on what this building should mean to Arbroath in the future. Make sure to visit on the 4th to support this local community project, and have the opportunity to see the building stripped back, waiting for its next phase of development.
This is your chance to tell the Arbroath Courthouse group your thoughts about this iconic historic building and what role it should play on the Arbroath High Street.
