DO YOU NEED HELP DURING SELF-ISOLATION?
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland has an army of over 3,500 volunteers who are trained and ready to help people in their local communities who are self-isolating and vulnerable to coronavirus.
- Do you need someone to get your shopping for you or pick up your medication?
- Do you need someone to walk your dog?
- Would you like to receive a kindness call and have someone to chat to over the phone, who can check-in while you’re isolating?
The charity is ready to match you with a volunteer who can help you and make sure you stay safe and well in your own home.
Jane-Claire Judson, Chief Executive at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, said:
“We have been overwhelmed by the amazing response we have had from volunteers who want to help people across Scotland. They are trained and ready to go and have already begun helping people in their communities.
“If you need help with anything from your shopping to simply chatting to someone over the phone, we are here for you. Pick up the phone and give us call us today and we will match you with a volunteer in your area.
“No one should be left to fight this virus alone. We are here to help.
