Changes to COVID vaccination arrangements in Tayside

12 to 15-year-old appointments

NHS Tayside is now moving into the next stage of the vaccination programme, with a focus on COVID-19 vaccinations for 12 to 15-year-olds.

There has been a great response to our special week of drop-ins for 12 to 15s this week which finish on Sunday, 26 September.  Thank you to all the young people and their parents who came along.

All jabs for the 12 to 15-year-olds are now moving to appointment only from Monday, 27 September.  Blue letters have been sent out in the post with appointments for your nearest vaccination centre.  Don’t worry if you can’t attend your scheduled appointment, you can rearrange using the details in the appointment letter.

If you’ve already attended drop-ins for the 12-15 age group, please cancel your appointment so it can be made available for someone else.

Following the closure of the Caird Hall as a community vaccination centre, Dundee residents will be invited to attend for vaccination at Dundee House.  This will be a temporary venue while work is ongoing to set up the new vaccination centre in the City Centre.

Third doses for severely immunosuppressed

Blue letters have been sent out in the post with appointments for your nearest vaccination centre.   These can also be rearranged using the details in the letter if your scheduled appointment is not suitable.

In Dundee, you will be invited to attend either Dundee House or Ninewells Outpatient Department for your vaccination.

Drop-ins – where they are and who can attend:

From Monday, 27 September, anyone aged over 16 who has not had a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine only can attend any of the drop-in clinics across Tayside.

Please note Dundee House is appointment only.  There are no drop-ins at this venue.  Anyone over 16 who needs a first or second dose can email tay.c19vaxlocalenquiries@nhs.scot or call 01382 423108 to book an appointment at Dundee House.
