19th-21st November, Northern Hotel, Brechin/Angus Bookfest. Daytime events include free audience with authors from near and far as well as workshops and kids activities, Evening entertainment;- Family Quiz Night,Disco, Jason Buck Storyteller stovie supper, Afternoon tea with the authors and a Character mystery evening.Along with all of this we have short story/drawing competitions running in the Brechin & Montrose schools, local window displays, care home/day centre activity competition, a floral display competition, all with a book theme! There will also be a book hunt for younger ones. Angus Archives is to host a display entitled ‘Opening Night’, which coincides with the reopening of the Archives at Restenneth, Forfar, to the public after a lengthy closure.
