Road repairs are due to be carried out at Arbroath’s Guthrie Port on two separate days this month.
For safety, road closures and diversions will be in place while the roadworks are ongoing on Sunday 14 March and a week later, on Sunday 21 March.
On Sunday 14 March, work will be undertaken on the eastbound lane from Ogilvy Place to the roundabout on Burnside Drive.
The diversion route for the duration of this work will be Lochlands Street – Keptie Street – Catherine Street and Burnside Drive.
On Sunday 21 March, work will be undertaken on the westbound lane from the roundabout at Burnside Drive to Ogilvy Place.
This will mean that the Guthrie Port exit from Morrisons will be closed and customers should use the exit at Hume Street. The diversion route will be Burnside Drive – Catherine Street – Keptie Street – Lochlands Drive.
Safety barriers will be in place around ongoing work and pedestrian access to all properties will be maintained as required
As public transport will be affected, information of alternative arrangements will be posted at the relevant local bus stops.
Angus Council would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and understanding during these necessary works, which are being carried out by Tayside Contracts.
