Angus Council has launched a survey for local businesses to find out the impact that COVID-19 is having on them and how the council can support them as Scotland moves into recovery.
The Invest in Angus Team want to hear from businesses in Angus of all sizes and from all sectors about how their business has been affected, issues they’ve had, what’s concerning them now we are in phase 2 of recovery and what measures they’ve taken or will be taking to mitigate the impact of COVID-19.
Angus Council Deputy Leader, Finance Convener and chair of the Economic Recovery Group, Cllr Angus Macmillan-Douglas said: “Local businesses have faced huge challenges through the coronavirus pandemic. We in Angus Council cannot know your businesses as well as you do. However, we do know that you are all key to the recovery of the local economy and of jobs, so please tell us what you see as your opportunities and challenges for the future. Help us help you where we can.”
The council will use the survey responses to inform their economic recovery support and to help shape the services that will be available for local businesses.
The survey will be sent out to businesses on the Invest in Angus database and those who applied for COVID-19 funds administered by Angus Council. It can also be accessed on their website www.investinangus.com/businesssurvey/
The survey closes on 10 July 2020.
Further advice and information for businesses impacted by COVID 19 is available on the Invest in Angus website.
